A Study On Coordinated Development Between Urbanization And Eco-Environment Of Xinjiang

Rely on the national strategy to develop western regions, Economy and social development of Xinjiang are very fast in recent years, the industrialization, urbanization, modernization paces are accelerated increasingly. Following industrialized development, the urbanization becomes need of regional economic equilibrium and coordinated development. However, compared with industrialized level, the urbanization level of Xinjiang obviously lags behind. Entering 21st century, accelerating the urbanization process becomes the main strategic direction of regional economic development of Xinjiang. The urbanization is a " double-edged sword ", which promotes economic society to develop constantly on one hand, leads to destruction unavoidably in various degree to the ecological environment on the other hand. It is very dry and short of rain throughout the year in Xinjiang, The land takes desert and the Gobi desert as the core, only 4.4% of the area is the oasis. The forest coverage rate is only 2.1%. The ecosystem is fragile and the environmental state is relatively bad. In addition, the economic development level of Xinjiang lags behind relatively, the construction input for ecological environment is very limited. Many reasons have caused the reality with worse state of ecological environment of Xinjiang. Under such natural and economic condition, the blind urbanization will make the ecological environment destructed even worsen. The urban question is just because of the inside out-of-balance which is caused by imperfection of structure and function within the urban ecosystem, and human unordered, amorphous activity. But such a systematic imperfection can be perfected through human subjective initiative and regulation and control of activity constantly, namely the contradictions of urbanization and ecological environment can be solved through the regulation and control of the mankind itself activity.This thesis has concretely analyzed the current situations of urbanization and ecological environment in Xinjiang, to explore basic law and characteristic that the ecological environment question produces in urbanization course, and then made the corresponding countermeasure, in order to achieve the purpose to realize harmonious development of urbanization and ecological environment. The basic goal of coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment is for realizing sustainable development of the city and human, which is exactly the purpose and meaning of this thesis.
