Study On The Coordinated Development Of Urbanization And Ecological Environment In Lianyungang City

Urbanization is an inevitable trend of development of human society, it is also a necessary step toward modernization for a country or region. In2008, the global urban population exceeded the rural population for the first time in history, in2025the proportion of urban population is expected to be62.5%, many developing countries are experiencing rapid urbanization process. Along with our country urbanization rate rising, urbanization of the "city disease" is emerging. T The coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment has gradually aroused people’s attention, which has become an important issue facing many urban areas. It has important theoretical and practical significance to effectively promote the urbanization process while protecting the ecological environment for academia and government departments.Lianyungang is one of the area of rapid urbanization in China’s coastal region, it has an important strategic position in the coordinated development of regional economy in our country. Taking Lianyungang as the study area and he subsystems of urbanization and ecological environment as the research object, we studied the coupling and coordination degree of the two systems, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures. The main research results as follows: (1) Build the evaluation index system of urbanization and ecological environment coordinated development of Lianyungang. Starting from the two systems: urbanization and ecological environment, selected the13evaluation indexes of each system and determined the weights of these indexes. Among the totally26indexes, the proportion of the urban population and environmental investment ratio have greater weights.(2) Analyzed the evolution of coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment.①From the comprehensive development index, the two trend curve of the comprehensive development of urbanization and ecological environment is relatively consistent, showing a steady upward trend overall. However, after2010, the progress of urbanization in Lianyungang accelerated. In2012, environmental index declined for the first time, even, lower than the index of urbanization.②From the point of coupling, the overall coupling is stable, the development of urbanization and ecological environment of Lianyungang began to shift from the period of antagonism to running-in period, the urbanization and ecological environment benign coupling well.③From the point of coordination degree, the overall trend showed a steady rise. In the nearly10years, the coordination degree of urbanization and the ecological environment has undergone three stages (three categories of four types),2003-2004was mild imbalance and recession and the profit of urbanization lost;2005-2007was on the verge of imbalance and recession and the profit of urbanization lost,2008-2012was a barely coordinated development and A Lag in Urbanization or ecological environment.(3) Put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment in Lianyungang. Suggested from several aspects, such as optimizing the industrial structure, optimize the spatial development order, speed up the construction of urban infrastructure, improve the ecological environment, building a conservation-oriented society, improve economic policy and guiding public participation, in order to promote sustainable development in Lianyungang.
