At present, it has been launched vigorously and permeated in various fields for ecological movement, targeted on the harmonious development between human and nature, and the eco-city based on the increasingly raising ecological level and agreeable living condition has already become a mainstream for urbanization development, due to the worldwide transition of traditional economic development pattern and the pursuit for sustainable development of globe and human being as a whole, as well as the results of the obtaining the harmonious co-existence between human and nature and better dwelling surroundings in concomitant with the powerful capability of changing the world. The eco-city is a entirely new conception, an ideal living pattern, being a leading trend in the urbanization development. As an important region in western economic development strategy, it is necessary for three gorges reservoir region to thrive urbanization, and to take the advantage of hub city as locomotive.
