In the past 8 years, the speed-raising 5 times, the guest' s volume and goods transported of the railway has growth of a certain degree, but the share shrinks in transporting market day by day , and in the passive position gradually during the competition with other transportation way. An important reason passenger and goods left the railway and used other ways are the operation of the railway train is low in speed. Under the market economy condition, the speed question of the railway is not merely the question that survives, but also the entry of management system and style of economic increase especially.This thesis collects main social economic characteristic , communications and transportation situation of the the railway from Shenyang to Shanhaiguan, analyse position and function that it is in the road network, study its current situation and future development trend, and make a prediction the flows and the volume of guest's and goods to the near , long-term of the railway with the science and rational method.Collecting the technological terms, operation characteristic of the the railway from Shenyang to Shanhaiguan, pointing the main weak link of restricting railway transport capacity. With prediction and national area development plan of the transporting system, put forward the necessity that electrification raising speed and the main technical standard.The key part of this thesis, namely aim at studying on existing railway speed-raising scheme, on the basis of analysed that existing equipment allocates the quantity , ability utilization ratio at the main station, pointing out deficiency of the ability of the equipment after raiseing speed. In the course of raising speed and reconstruction, propose to the scheme that expands capacity andreconstruction of 5 large stations. Shanhaiguan station is greatest to transform, after the comparison advantage and disadvantage of each scheme , proposing the east prolong scheme is the scheme of according to the demand of traffic volume in design year, and there is the advantage of reasonable station model, light to interfere, is suitable for the road network to run. It uses the method of average minimum train spacing interval law to calculate the every sector handling capacity of the railway from Shenyang to Shanhaiguan after raising speed.This thesis sets up the adjusting model of railway train operations, pointing out the factors and principles that need to be considered for regulating railway train operations in double—track railway.
