The Study Of Comparative Advantage Theory And The Trade Relationship Between China And ASEAN

In November 2002, ASEAN and Chinese leaders signed the "Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Co-Operation between ASEAN and China".Because of the adjacent of the position, the similarity of the weather and the approximate stage of the economy, they export many identical commodities. And when CAFTA are established, the competitions among exported commodities with similar Revealed Comparative Advantage are going to increase relevantly. Thus, the discussion of the mutual supplement and competition in the CAFTA will lay fundamental meaning to the full use of competitive advantage of both sides.This thesis is divided into four major chapters as follows:Chapter 1, Introduce the development of the Competitive Advantage Theory.Chapter 2, Analyze the trade framework among China and ASEAN through doing theoretical and empirical analysis.Chapter 3, Analyze the double-side trade and intra-industry trade conditions between China and ASEAN.Chapter 4, Expatiate how we use our competitive advantages to harmonize the trade relationship among CAFTA, and adjust our trade structure, upgrade the industry structure continuously.
