A Study On Implementation Model Of Information System Of Manufacturing Enterprises

Since the wave of information rooted inl980's swept the whole world, lots of new manage method and competition mode have been found on the information and network, and the world in the future is also based on the information. The information is not only the path to the victory of certain corporations but also a must of all the corporations that want to exist in the cruel competition.The effect of information applying is not satisfactory despite the necessity has been recognized by the corporations. There are 2800 corporations in China that have invested more than 10 billions in the information system since 1980's. While that not only wasted the valuable capital but also leave the terrible shadow behind just as the saying "joining the ERP is going to die, while not joining is waiting to die." Many corporations lose their trust of IT after seeing the failing information system so that the business chance of IT becomes less. This will block the course of applying the information in China and hold up the good chance of industrialization. The fundamental course of it is the operation mode of the information. Then how to choose the right applying mode of information?This thesis introduces the content, actuality and the existing problem of applying information in manufacturing enterprises. From analyzing the mode of applying information, we summarize five primary modes: 1. voluntary exploitation; 2. outsourcing; 3. application service provider; 4. computing utility; 5. Self-manage. After analyzing the characteristic of the mode and ingredients that influence the mode, we bring forward the rule that should be followed. The corporation should consider the target, technique, area and emphases of the information. Besides, the corporation should take the total cost of ownership into account and choose the mode of information applying adapted after considering the product mode, corporation size, organize structure, exterior condition And itself factors like information capability of maturity, manage foundation ,etc.At last, selecting the information applying system of DPCA as a demonstration, this thesis studied the mode of information applying, sum up the experience, and indicates the existing shortage and the direction for improvement.
