Enterprise social capital is defined as the capability of which an enterprise uses the social relationship networks of employees as well as entrepreneurs, and its credit, brand image, sale channels, information networks and so on to search and obtain scare resources. This paper uses data, which is collected from 673 employee questionnaires of 49 enterprises, and adapts descriptive statistics analysis, frequencies distribution analysis, factor analysis, relative analysis and regression methods to research the relationship between human resource management and enterprise social capital. The results reflect that the better HRM practises, the more social capital an enterprise acquires. HRM has the function on accumulating enterprise social capital.This dissertation includes five parts. The first part emphasizes the increasing importance of human resource management and the key effects of enterprise social capital to the competitive advantage of enterprises, then brings forward that it is necessary to study the system of human resource management functioning on enterprise social capital. The second part analyses the background and significance of this research, reviews and compares the existing research literatures of human resource management functions and enterprise social capital. The third part introduces the research goals, puts forward the research model and defines the constructs and variables in the model. Through the trial survey and credit analysis, the scale and questionnaire are finally ascertained. In this part, this paper ensures the variables in the model and develops the hypotheses through exploring factor analysis of the questionaire data. In the fourth part, this paper employs descriptive statistics analysis, frequencies distribution analysis, relative analysis and regression methods to analyse the data, tests the hypotheses separately and gets the conclusions. The last part gives the conclusions of the whole study, based on which this dissertation indicates the suggestion on practice. At the end of this paper, the innovations, the limitations and the future directions of the study are brought forward.
