Salary always is a most important part in the enterprise's reward system. The successful corporation's pay system design not only mobilizes the work enthusiasm and creativity of employees, but plays a vital role in increasing enterprise benefits, deploying, using and exploiting human resources effectively. Therefore, how to design and choice rationally pay systems become an important study in the HRM in the modern enterprises. Firstly, in the thesis, the author uses the criterion analysis method, make a comparative analysis to the four types of pay systems: Post-based Pay System, Competency-based Pay System, Performance-based Pay System and Market-based Pay System. Secondly, uses modern wage theories and contingent theories, discuss how to make the contingent choices of pay systems.
