With the development of China’s financial reform, commercial banking system continues to be improved, the pace of product updates faster, the higher requirements for the skill level of practitioners are put forward, mastering the new knowledge, the rapid promotion of new business, accurately grasping the new process, has become a decisive factor in the business of commercial banks.For current banking industry,the pressing matter of the moment is to cultivate the talents who can keep pace with the times, owing the competency.Training is considered as an important means to improve the competency of employees, however, imperfect training system also often leads to low training efficiency. Aiming these problems, this paper takes A bank H branch as an example, to integrate theory with practice, based on domestic and foreign training theory and competency theory, using data analysis, questionnaire and interview, analyzes existing problems in the training system of the A bank H branch; using the theoretical framework of competency, identify the gap between reality and required competency, starting from the analysis of employee training needs, training plan, training plan implementation, training effect evaluation from four aspects such as planning, construction of the competency of A bank H branch staff training system based on the cultivating the staff competency, provide a solid guarantee of human resources for the development of the business, and finally can achieve the target of improving the comprehensive competitiveness of commercial banks.
