A Study Of TPL Mode Based On Automotive Supply Chain Strategy

As the coming time of economy globalization and cooperative competition, the tendency of no-border competition and penetration of enterprises is more and more obvious. The spirit of competition is no longer between single company but the supply chain. Facing the more and more competitive atmosphere, the manufacturing enterprises come to recognize the necessity and urgency of "focusing on the core competitive competence", considering the resources, cost and service at the same time, the need of outsourcing logistics is more and more urgent. Thus, TPL made great progress, how to get good relationship between supply chain and TPL has gotten to be the research study field of both industry and academia. At the beginning, this thesis put forwards an important problem for TPL modes based on automotive supply chain by literature review and analysis of automotive logistics, and explains the categories of automotive supply chain strategies, mainly including lean, agile and hybrid supply chain strategy, and compares and analyzes the characteristic of these three strategies. Then, it discusses emphatically the relationships between supply chain and TPL, and the inner need of TPL mode for automotive supply chain. Based on this, the thesis establishes the fit model of automotive supply chain strategies and TPL modes, and takes emphasis on analyzing the implication, structure trait and fulfilling strategy of lean, agile and tailored logistics. In the end, the thesis analyzes comparatively the three logistics modes from the following six aspects: the fit of strategy, the ideal of management and the competitive strategy and etc.
