Today in the 21st century, supply chain has becoming the key unit of global competition gradually, and supply chain management has become the indispensable important means that enterprises improve the key competitiveness. Through the analysis of supply chain management of LY company, this text, point out the problem of every chain link , and offer suggestions and measures to improve supply management. The purpose lies in making enterprises stand at the height of the overall situation of the chain, integrate the resources of the supply chain, set up the operation model of supply chain suitable for LY Company, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operation, and enhance the key competitiveness of the company. After introducing the background of LY iron company at first, this text analysis the problems and challenges that the company meets at present, and present the thinking, main content and meaning of this text. Then introduce the relevant theories of supply chain and supply chain management. And then from purchasing and inventory, production and planning, distribution and deliver, electronizing supply chain and performance evaluation system, this text go on case study LY iron company 'supply chain, propose the suggestions and measures. Direct against such problems as traditional supplier management, information asymmetry, great amount of inventory, etc., it proposes to establish strategic partnership with supplier, implement authentication to that the suppliers supply the material and jointly purchase. In stock control, it proposes the second stores model of spare part and VMI tactics. In the part of production and planning, this article point out the weak point, optimize the production logistics, and propose adopting the management model of the concentrating logistics. In distribution and delivery, this article analysis the weak point of company distribution logistics, that is lacking overall plan, too many intermediate link, traditional information transmission way, and propose the strategy of processing and delivering product. In the link of electronizing the supply chain, the text analysis the necessity of setting up the electronic supply-chain, from strategy, tactics, operation aspect, discuss how to set up and operate the e-supply chain. Finally the article analyses the evaluation system of the performance of the supply chain, explain how to set up the supply chain performance evaluation system, propose to set up performance range pole in order to improve the performance of the supply chain.
