At present, it accounts for 21 million surplus labors in rural areas in China. The successful transformation of the rural surplus labor to non-agricultural sector and to the cities are important to increase of farmers' income and improvement of their living standards. It is also crucial to industrialization of agricultural sector and urbanization. The research, thus based on the case of rural labor transformation situation of Xingbin District, Laibin Municipality, Guangxi Zhuang Nationality Autonomous Region, emphasizes analysis of volume of rural labors, their qualities, employment situation and surplus rural labor's situation in Laibin Municipality. It analyzed the transformation patterns of present rural surplus labors and existing problems and related influencing elements. These problems and elements are: First, The quality of rural surplus labor is low which made them have not many opportunities to find jobs. Secondly, the capacity to absorb the surplus labor is decreasing. Thirdly, some unfavourable policies towards surplus labor still exist. As a result, some concrete solutions of accelerating transformation of Laibin rural surplus labors are put forward according to the survey and analysis:1. Developing the rural local potentials based on the local reality and realizing industrialization of agricultural sector are the best ways to solve the problems.2. Grasp the opportunities and accelerating urbanization help to reduce the number of rural surplus labors.3. Strengthening the integrated management of labors between urban and rural areas, and promoting the labors migration.4. Training is the efficient method to improve and stabilize the transformation of rural surplus labors.
