The Study Of Patent Institution Application Status Of High Technology Corporations In Sichuan

As we all know high technology industry has been the important factor which drove economy increase of China, and now, the high technology faces both opportunities and challenges. After joining WTO, The world Multinational Corporation gave more confidence to investment in China, and the Chinese corporation became a member of the world R&D system with the national high technology manufacture transferred acceleratively to China. At the same time, there's many problems to solve in our high technology industry, the most important and eager one is that most of the high technology corporations are small and middle, and their innovation ability is poor. There's many reasons about this, one of the most important is that the corporations haven't their independent intellectual property. Along with the acceleration of the economy globalization, intellectual property especially patent has became the MultiNational Corporation's forceful means of winning the market and restricting the competent opponent.The patent institution is the product of market economy, and is one of the elementary institutions. The practice of developed country three hundred years' patent institution testified that the patent institution reacted in standardizing the market competence order, inspiring invention and creation and boosting the technology innovation. It's less than twenty years since Chinese patent institution constituted, and most corporation managers still lack the knowledge of patent management. For the sake of achieving the effect of the patent, we investigated and analyzed the patent institution application of high technology corporations in Sichuan Province.This study gathered information from the corporations primarily throughquestionnaire, and than through field survey and telephone accessing. After analyzing, we found the character of the patent institution application in the high technology corporations of Sichuan Province, such as the transformation rate of the patent is very high, and the patents for invention is few, and the international patent application is lack and etc. During the survey, many corporations told some external obstacle during their patent management. For example our patent institution is still incomplete and it's not rigorous when executing the law and the service of the patent agency is too simple and so on .This article studied the status of patent institution application in the high technology corporations, and enriched the theoretics about the high technology patent research; And theoretically analyzed the factors which affected the patent institution application and the weakness during applying patent institution.The significance of this study for practice was that this study made the high technology corporation see the problem of the patent institution application and than find the settlement. The patent administration also could refer this study to constitute patent policy.
