Analyzing The Coordination Of Shanghai's Industrial Structure Through Applying The Input-output Model

The economic development of any country or area all includes the two respects connected each other. On one hand is shown as the expansion of quantity i.e. economic growth, on the other hand is shown as the improvement of the quality i.e. coordination and optimization of structure. The essential requirement of the modern economic growth is coordination of the economic structure. When Economy develops into a certain stage, the coordination of the structure becomes more and more important. If the economy of Shanghai wishes to keep the situation of lasting growth in the future, it should depend on the intensity of industrial structure coordination to a great extent.Studying the industrial structure can choose different angles and methods. Mainly using the input-output model, according to analyzing the current situation and coordination of Shanghai's industrial structure, this thesis drew several conclusions and policy recommendation, offered the basis for optimizing and adjusting further the industrial structure of Shanghai, and proposed some views and suggestions in constructing the industrial structure of Shanghai. Research emphases and main innovation of this thesis were that using input-output model carried through more systematically quantitative analyses for internal coordination of Shanghai industrial structure.On the method, combining the current situation of Shanghai industrial structure, and on the basis of the routine analysis through the statistic data, this thesis carried on the demonstration analysis through applying the data model of the input-output. On the foundation of demonstration it analyzed canonically the harmony of Shanghai industrial structure, and put forward some opinions and suggestions for further rationalization and optimization of Shanghai industrial structure. Meanwhile, while carrying on a large amount of qualitative analysis, and using the quantitative method, went on qualitative and qualitative analysis for industrial structure alteration and input-output. In addition, the thesis combined the statistical analytical method and comparative analytical method, and educed the important reference conclusion through horizontal and longitudinal contrast.In theory, the full thesis ran through the thought of the general equilibriumtheory, and combined together the industrial structure theory and input-output's technological theory. It not only studied industrial structure adjustment applying the theory of industrial economics, but also used the theory of input-output economics to study the coordination problem of the industrial structure, and attempted to discuss Shanghai industrial structure in terms of multidimensional ways to improve the credibility of the conclusion.The thesis carried on statistical analysis with a large amount of pen and ink, although had not put forward surprising theory innovation, but relying on the statistics knowledge accumulated for many years, it processed and dealt with relevant statistical data, and made comparatively practical conclusions according to the statistical information.
