While the Combined Heat and Power (CHP)is the important measure for the city to solve problem of air pollution and increase therate of energy utilization. CHP has integrated benefits of energy saving, improve theenvironment, increase the quality of heating supplying and electric power generation.CHP is favor of the recombination of the city energy distribution. In order to realizethe environment protection and energy saving, CHP will make the total energyconsumption of the city reduced by cancel the low-efficient industrial boiler.According to the Chinese continuous development energy policy and citydevelopment plan of Tianjin, this article makes a research on the developmentstrategy of CHP enterprises. Firstly, the article illustrates the idea of continuousdevelopment, and Chinese energy policy and strategy based on the idea. Secondly, thearticle analyzes the history, status quo and prospect of the domestic and oversea CHPdevelopment. Thirdly, the article makes a study on Tianjin CHP enterprises by usingthe enterprise life cycle theory and SWOT analysis method, and brings forward thedevelopment strategy available to the CHP enterprises.Tianjin is in the key period of fast economy development. Low-cost energysupplying and high air quality are very important to improve the people's livingstandard. With a view to make Tianjin city a modern metropolis in the north of China,the government should encourage CHP actively. At the same time, the CHPenterprises should catch the opportunity, enlarge the heating network and make morepeople aware of the CHP advantage in order to quicken the modernizationconstruction of Tianjin city.
