Strategy of a company and the assessment of staff's work performance arenecessary for a company to gain the upperhand in the fierce competition insociety today.The assessment of work performance refers to the process ofcomprehensive,objective and integral analysis and evaluation of staff'sperformance,ability and attitude in a period of time through scientific theory,method and objective standard.The result of this assessment is regarded as thebasis of salary management and personnel arrangement.This paper studies the assessment of work performance in human resourcesin RSH wood processing Co.,Ltd. First, considering the situation of the company,the author analyzes the problems in assessment of performance and puts forwardreformation ideas and technical plans to evaluate the performance in thecorporation.Second, with the post directions and balanced scorecard inmind,the author gives a detailed analysis and research of the staff's performancetargets. The author also designs a system to assess staff's performance and apattern of considering things in proportion to the whole through modernmanagement theory, statistical analysis and the principle of analyzing thequantity and determining its nature. Finally, the content, standard and method ofthe assessment of performance is established on the basis of post direction,corporation balanced scorecard and staff performance target.
