Influenced by traditional development thought, people often pay moreattention to the evaluation of National economy and finance and neglect or makesuperficial evaluation of social evaluation. These problems arouse comparativecomplex questions in operation of projects that initiated some social contradictoryand brought unstable social factor, consequently the anticipated target of projectshad been influenced negatively. Therefore, it is necessary to make analysis andresearch by the numbers on social evaluation of projects, so as to bring correct andcomprehensive understanding to people that can promote social evaluation work ofprojects, effectively avoid the negative influence on projects, and exert the benefitthat the projects should have furthest.Herein the actuality and after application of social evaluation of hydraulicengineering projects, this article introduces the production background andresearch actuality of domestic and foreign social evaluation of hydraulicenginering projects, discusses main characters and demand of after evaluation ofprojects started with the depiction of after evaluation;introduces main contentsand common evaluation method of after evaluation by the numbers to the questionof difference between after evaluation and first evaluation: Statistics forecastmethod, contrast method and the logical frame method. At the same time, thisarticle makes brief introduction on the content of after evaluation of hydraulicengineering projects in order to stand out necessity and importance of socialevaluation. This article has made some research and discussion of step andmethod of hydraulic engineering projects, and make thorough research of socialafter evaluation by using the combination of quantitative analysis and qualityanalysis method, among these there is something which are waiting to beresearched and improved further.
