Research On Modern Logistics Industry Development Based On Division Of Labor Theory

This paper focuses on the development of logistics industry and choices on development modes. It conducts profound analysis and research on the development of China's logistics industry by analyzing the origin of logistics industry and factors influencing its development from the view of basic theories of division of labor and specialization in Economics, combining finding results of both Chinese and foreign logistics experts and utilizing basic principles and research methods of Economics and Management, which hopes to give a guide and reference for China's future logistics development.Based on the summary of how logistics industry developed in foreign countries, the paper conducts research on current development and characteristics of China's logistics industry, analyses its great promotional effect on economic development and what circumstance China's modern logistics industry is in. Then, this paper compares several different development modes in terms of logistics and puts forward several development paths for the future development of logistics industry according to China's own condition. It is expected to provide strong guarantee for the continuous and rapid economic development of China by raising the speed of logistics development, lowing down the cost and improving logistics efficiency. It is also beneficial for formulation and implementation of the 11^th five-year economic development plan and the outlines of logistics development drawn by the national government and local governments.In recent years, with the rapid development of the economy, logistics has become a area that restricted the economic development of China. The small-scaled logistics industry, lagging-behind technology, simple service content and unstandardized logistics market has caused many problems like not so specialized logistics service and too high exchange fees. On one hand, China is facing fierce competition form advanced foreign logistics enterprise, therefore, it urgently needs to upgrade its logistics industry and lower down the cost. And on the other, more andmore industrial and commercial enterprises are giving their logistics operation to professional logistics enterprises to handle, which places higher requirement on those professional logistics enterprises. As a matter of fact, the division of labor and specialization will undoubtedly result in the rise of the cost and many other potential problems. How to deal with those problems has become the top priority of China's modern logistics industry. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to find out the development modes for solving those problems to promote China's logistics development, strengthen its competitive force by doing research on the issues in the development process of modern logistics industry, and finally, to offer more opportunities and space for China's future economic development.The meaning of this paper is that, on one hand, it is helpful to understand the development mechanism and rule of logistics industry to push the logistics industry develop forward. And on the other, it can provide a whole applicable modes and methods for the development of logistics industry, which will exert a profound influence for the development of China's modern logistics industry.
