Study On The Impact Of Modern Logistics Industry To Regional Conomic Development Of Wuxi

Modern logistics industry is the basic industry of national economy,it plays an importantrole in the development of regional economy as "lubricant"and "propellant".Developed modernlogistics industry can not only promote economic growth,improve efficiency and quality ofeconomy,but also can form new industrial patterns,boost industrial structure optimizing andupgrading.Accelerating the speed of modern logistics industry construction is verymeaningful.First of all,it is inevitable choice of promoting development of regional economy andrevitalizing tertiary industry.Secondly,it is the effective way to reduce enterprise cost andimprove enonomic efficiency.Thirdly,it is an important measure of providing jobs and relievingpressure of employment.Last but not least,it is urgent need of improving investment environmentand enlarging opening to the outside world. Additionally,modern logistics industry has a widerange of industrial relevance to be the leading and pillar industry in more and more cities.This paper uses many theories and methods,such as Regional Economics,IndustrialEconomics,Econometrics and Administration,it analyzes the influence of modern logisticsindustry on the development of regional economy in Wuxi from two aspects,one is regionaleconomic growth,and the other is industrial structure optimization.This paper analyzes the influence about modern logistics industry to regional economicgrowth in Wuxi.Through establishing econometric model,using EViews6.0to get that improvingoutput and quality of modern logistics industry can promote economic growth.This paper analyzes the influence about modern logistics industry to industrial structureoptimization in Wuxi.Using multiplier estimate method to get that Wuxi has initially formedlogistics industrial cluster.Developing modern logistics industry will promote the structure to bemore rational.Then using input-output method to get that developing modern logistics industrywill promote structure to be more exclusive.This paper proposes some relevant suggestions for Wuxi to develop modern logisticsindustry faster and better.From the perspective of government,including strengtheningpropaganda,formulating preferential policies and improving management agencies;from theperspective of industry,including accelerating the process of logistics information,supportingbackbone enterprises,contacting with Internet of Things closely and cultivating logisticspersonnel;from the perspective of enterprise,including developing traditional freight transportand storage companies,strengthening cooperation between logistics enterprises,building logisticsbrand and developing virtual logistics.
