"Success is owing to Family, and failure is owing to Family too", which is a realportraiture of family firm in our country. Most of them are growing up rapidly, but fallingdown in a short time. "Foundation, growing-up, comedown" is their trilogy. Especially, familyfirm faces greater challenge than before coming from aboard and in after Chinese enteredWTO in 2001. How to make their success in the initial stage continue always puzzledenterprisers of family firm.Under the globalizational background of economy, science and technology developmentat a rapid speed, Human resource is "the first resource". The competition of enterprise isactually the competition of human resource. Human resource development has very importanteffect, and it is the key of success or failure of a firm. The human resource development ofChinese family firm has many defects though they have some advantages. Based on theLifecycle of family firm (Lifecycle concludes initial stage, extend stage and ripe stage), thispaper researched the human resource development of Chinese family firm and put forward themethod of human resource development in every Lifecycle stage. The author hope it wouldhave a help to the family enterpriser of employing people, and it would beneficent to thesustainable development of Chinese family firm.This dissertation is divided into several parts as follows:In the introduction part, the author put forward the problem and simply analyzed the coreproblem to solve, and the significance, research method of this dissertation.The 1St chapter introduced the theory frame of human resource development in Chinesefamily firm. firstly, the author explained the theory summarize of family firm, including themeanings, types, causes, advantages and disadvantages of family firm, as well as its threeloops and third class developed pattern. Secondly, the author introduced the theory basis ofhuman resource development of family firm.The 2nd chapter analyzed the general situation of human resource development ofChinese family firm, including the status quo of Chinese family firm as well as its advantagesand disadvantages.The 3rd chapter concluded the characterization of family firm Lifecycle and its humanresource development. This chapter is the essence of the dissertation. The author depicted thecharacterization of family firm and analyzed the method of its human resource developmentfrom three phrases of its Lifecycle.The 4th chapter concluded the reflection and advice to the human resource developmentin Chinese family firm. The author analyzed the influence of exterior environment from thatof culture and system, and the same time, put forward suggestions to government and familyfirm against this status quo.
