In this paper, on base of lots of investigation, according to gas types (natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and coal gas), had a analysis and forecast of actuality and development trend about today domestic city gas industry; Presented market actuality of city vehicles gas, and forecasted the foreground of city vehicles gas; Had a simple sort and contrast analysis about financial of city gas company, including government-owned city gas company and non-government city gas company.The economy development status of place was analyzed and investigated. Also the gas demand of the place was forecasted. Then the investment policy of gas industry, the price policy of city gas, the policy of changing the distribution of energy in my country was investigated; through the investigation of gas industry's payoff mode, the gas project of Hefei how to get a good benefit was introduced (include profits of the gas pipeline installment, operational income, the increase of shareholder's rights and interests, and so on ); Through the analysis of advantage and disadvantage of investor, some measures on avoiding disadvantage was introduced; Based on the estimate of gas project investment and the forecast on the demand of the place, the economic benefit of the project was evaluated, including static investment payback period, net present value, internal rate of return, etc. Also the uncertainty and the ability of discharge were analyzed. Then the conclusion about the financial feasibility was made.Finally, the risk sort of the gas project was analyzed and identified, which include financing risk, source risk, favorable policy and support from the government, management risk. And some measures on the control of risk, including prevention and transfer of risk, were presented.
