Research On The Urbanization Spatial Extension Based On The CA Model

Cellular Automata(CA) is a kind of dynamics model which is discrete in time and space. It is a typical method to research the change of the complicated system with the time and space.CA is especially available to the simulate for the dynamics change of the time and space for the complicated system.The development of the city is influenced by the factors of the nature, the society and the economy, which have the basic characteristic of the complicated system of the uncertainty and the chaos. The dynamics evolvement simulation for the city is importance significance for us to understand the development rule and characteristic and establish the development planning of the city.First of all, The paper introduces the research instance on the CA Model recently .Secondly, the paper introduces and discusses the CA's theory, On based of which analyze the application research on the CA model in the city spatial extension.The paper extends the tradition CA model on based of the theory and explains the development in Wuhan city.Last, the author validate it feasible on CA model in researching city development.
