Research On The Technological Progress And Economic Sustainable Growth Of China

The modern economic growth theory regards the technological progress as the key factor of the economic growth and the source of economic development. Sustainable development emphasizes the economic development must be in harmony with the environment, and pursues the harmony between people and natural. Nowadays, countries all over the world simultaneously choose sustainable development, in which technological progress is playing a great role, as the strategic objective of national macroeconomic development. At present, technological progress has already drawn great attention at home and abroad. People have already profoundly realized that technological progress performs an essential function to the national economic growth and to the core competitiveness. What's more, economic development is the primary goal which is pursued by various countries. The exploration and practice of different countries have proved technological progress is the basic motive force of economic sustainable development. With the quickening paces of social globalization, technological progress has also been globalized gradually and become a main motive force of economic globalization.Under this background, through investigating the modern economic growth theory in detail, this thesis studied the relationship between economic growth and economic development, probed into the thought foundation of the theory of economic sustainable development, emphatically studied the significance of technological progress for the realization of the sustainable economic growth, proposed the view that technological progress is the motive power of economic sustainable development, and investigated the past and current situation of technological progress and economic sustainable development of our country. Furthermore, through putting sustainable development norm into new classical model to portray sustainable mode in quantity, this thesisconstructed a model of the relation between technological progress andtsustainable economic growth; through calculating technical progress rate of sustainable development of our country, the thesis provided the lower limit of technological progress rate of economic sustainable development in our country. At last, it put forward several relevant countermeasures to the questions that existed in the technological progress of our country.
