Research About The Production Planning And Scheduling In Newspaper Printing

With the increase of newspaper's circulation in our country, the productivity of newspaper printing became deficiency. One of the ways to settle the problem is to improve equipment's effective availability and printing efficiency. As the emphases of production management, production operational schedule and production scheduling make decisive effect in streamlining production. Through drawing up reasonable and scientific production operational schedule and optimizing production scheduling, we can shorten time of printing, improve our output based on existing equipment, and make sure the productive task is accomplished qualitatively and punctually.The paper based on the investigation of newspaper printing of Chutian Printing Company Hubei Daily Group, analyzed the characteristic of production process of newspaper printing and the problem existed in production operational schedule and production scheduling, and raised production scheduling concrete aim, applied Optimized Production Technology (OPT) and Group Technology (GT) to production scheduling, found the bottleneck working procedure in product by analyzed capacity of this company's equipment, established bottleneck working procedure's schedule with GT, managed equipment and live ware with GT, to cut down their complexity and optimize combination between them.With the implement of production operational schedule, we analyzed the reason that why the product schedule behind production plan according to the company's product condition, and proposed a solution to the problem according to the reason, and then scheduled printing dynamically, checked out it in practice, and improved it continuously. The ultimate objective of this paper is to optimized printing production and achieves the goal of newspaper printing's production scheduling.
