Case Study Approach To Cost Management In Shuibuya Curtain Grouting Project

The thesis is a case study approach to cost management in construction project.Construction project is the basic economic unit of a construction enterprise, and project profit constitutes majority profits of a construction enterprise. Concerning the drastic competition, improving the ability on project cost management to obtain more profit on each project, is the only way for construction enterprises to enhance their integrate managerial abilities to obtain more enterprise profits.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first chapter gives a main introduction of Shuibuya Curtain Grouting Project and the realistic meaning of the case study. In the second chapter, the paper introduces the substance of construction project, cost of construction project and cost management in construction project. In the third Chapter, the paper introduces the basic principles, programs, and related theories that referenced in cost management. The fourth part is the case analyzes of cost management in Shuibuya Curtain Grouting Project. In the last part, the thesis points out the problems that occur in the project cost management, and presents some opinions and suggestions to solve the existent problem.
