In this thesis, the Qualitative Simulation Model and System of R&D Team Performance Appraisal have been studied, integrating fuzzy engineering theory, qualitative simulation technology, artificial intelligence and performance management theory. Firstly, the background, purpose and significance of this thesis are clarified. The general situation of relevant areas in domestic and abroad is introduced. Then we put forward the main research contents of the thesis, that is, the analysis of the R&D team performance management mechanism, the research on the technology system of R&D team performance management, the study on the qualitative simulation model of R&D team performance management, the research on the qualitative simulation system of R&D team performance appraisal. Secondly, we analyze the team performance as well as key factors influencing it. Then the team performance management system and its process are studied. Based on these studies the transition process model of R&D team performance is established. The third, we discuss the technology system of R&D team performance management, analyzing the technologies of performance appraisal and analysis. Furthermore, the general method of R&D team performance appraisal using fuzzy theory and AHP is studied. The forth, after efficiently analyzing the transition process model of R&D team performance and influential factors, we put forward the qualitative simulation model of R&D team performance management. We build the qualitative restriction rules database and the qualitative simulation model based on the process knowledge database after specifying the key influential factors. Then we apply qualitative simulation to the model. Finally, the exploitation environment, design principles, main functions and structures of the qualitative simulation system of R&D team performance appraisal are discussed. And the source of I/O data structure of the system is clarified. Furthermore, we apply the simulation system, display and analyze the I/O data. In the end of this thesis, the summaries are concluded and further expectations are made as well.
