Focuses On The Ways For The Dairy Development In Guizhou According To The Dairy Development Of China And World

Developing the dairy industry is very important for improving people's health, enhancing the national quality of life, accelerating the development of the local economy and increasing farmers' income.This paper focuses on the development in the dairy industry and summarizes up the experiences and characteristics of the developing dairy industry in the world and Australia. Next, we discussed the production, processing, consumption and problems in China's dairy industry. The policy we developed for the enhancement of China's dairy industry was that firstly, we should put the developing dairy industry first. Secondly, we should greatly strengthen the service for the society and set up the various co-operatives for the dairy industry. Thirdly, we needed to open up and cultivate a national market. Fourthly, we considered that Australia adjusted measures to local conditions, used resources reasonably, depressed the costs of production, integrated with scientific research and dairy production in the aspects of the breed improvement, scale of production and management of the farming system, and the feed management methods. Above all, it would be worth us learning and using Australia as a reference for all of the dairy companies in China.Lastly, the paper analyses in detail the development of the dairy industry of GuiZhou. There were several advantages in the dairy industry of GuiZhou, such as policies, market, region and brands. However, there were also some disadvantages, such as small cow herds, the low volume of milk production, the imperfect construction of milk source bases, the low extent of mechanization of milking and the great pressure of competition in the market. After analysing national and international experience, the advantages and disadvantages of GuiZhou on developing dairy industry, in particular taking the national and international experiences of developing dairy industry as reference, the conclusion we reached was that the model of "company +farmers" to develop the dairy industry in GuiZhou was feasible. We propose some possible policies, including pushing collectivization and enhancing the content of science and technology actively, stimulating the consumption of milk, increase the support power, which might be helpful to realize the continuous, rapid development of the dairy industry in GuiZhou.
