Third, the SWOT analysis ofThailand's real cassava trading situation in global market. This analysis examines thestrength, weakness, opportunities and threat of Thai cassava industry. The resultclearly demonstrates Thai cassava's high global market share, especially in Chinesemarket, and the comparison between Thai and Vietnamese cassava also showsThailand's higher competitive potential. However, Vietnam's growing efficiency incassava industry should not be overlooked. Also the fact that Vietnamese cassava isgaining market share from China and Thailand is crucial. Accordingly, allpossibilities to maintain, or even increase, Thailand's strength in cassava industryshould be intensely considered.
