The paper studied aided price-bidding of power plant based on real-time generatingcost and system marginal price (SMP) prediction under the deregulated power system.Firstly,from the view of fixed cost and variable cost,the eight elements of generatingcost, as well as their property and affecting factors were thoroughly analyzed;then theway of real-time cost calculating was put forward. As a result,the relation betweengenerating cost and unit load was obtained. Then an example was calculated anduncertainty analysis was made. Secondly,considering main influencing factors of SMP,multi-variable linear regression model and back propagation neural networks model wereadopted to forecast SMP,then combining prediction model on the basis of abovementioned two models was introduced. Simulating value demonstrated combiningprediction model has better predicting accuracy. Lastly,a framework about aidedprice-bidding was adduced,and the function of its modules was concretely set forth.
