Research On Generating Cost Analysis And Bidding Strategies Of Power Plant

Generating cost analysis and bidding strategies of plants under electricity market were studied in this paper, with examples of a power plant in Inner Mongolia. Based on thorough analysis on the eight elements of generating cost, fixed cost and variable cost were calculated using dynamic cost disintegrated method, generation cost in different loads was obtained, the unit start-up costs was include into cost analysis and price biding as well. With the consideration of the current long-term contracts and spot trading model, a new method profit and loss analysis and price competition analysis was given. Finally, bidding strategies based on cost analysis were presented in this thesis, in order to providing economic analysis and cost price reference for units to competing for net by power price.
