Electric Power Reform And Demand-side Management Based On Energy Efficiency

With the sustainable and rapid development of Chinese economy, the problem ofenergy shortage is increasingly become the core of Chinese energy sources security andan important aspect of national security. Building a Resource-Efficient Society andSustainable Development have been written in 《"Eleven Fifth" planning suggestions》.Electric Power Reform and Demand-side Management are the two most important waysto promote energy efficiency . At the beginning of the paper, We introduce four kinds ofelectric power reform, and the effect of each on energy saving and energy efficiency.Next, we analyze the history and status quo of electric power reform, and imagine thefuture of electric power reform. Finally, we give brief introduction of the currentsituation in demand-side management, point out existing problems. Aiming at theseproblems, we propose nine suggestions on demand-side management.
