Nevertheless, its scale is still small and dispersed;its products are low in technique and product specialization;and its techniques and equipment drops behind the popular ones;its economic benefits are still low. There are considerable distance from both the national and international iron and steel industries. Especially, what Hebei's iron and steel industry could do now is to speed up its organization adjustment to maintain and acquire its market competition while others are accelerating. Otherwise, considering the high resource consuming, serious pollution and the current circumstance of the iron and steel industry in Hebei, it is reasonable and sound to exert the adjustment according to the requirement of steady economic and society development.
