Research On The Strategic Alliance Operating Models And Management Based On The Industrial Organization Theory

Strategic alliance has been an important means for modern entrepreneurs to realize strategic targets and gain advantages. Firstly, the research background of it is discussed, and then the conception, form and theoretic explanation of strategic alliances are described. Secondly the paper analyzes the strategic alliances on the base of industrial organization theory. Strategic alliance operating models are classified as hierarchy oriented and market oriented. The meaning, character and influential factors of the two operating models are also compared. The appropriate operating model is crucial to the success of the strategic alliances, so this paper makes a study of how to select operating model from the view of utility evaluation, risk evaluation and resources quality.After selecting the operating model, strategic alliance management is also very important, so alliance management is approached from the aspects of strategic alliance operating mechanism and profit allocation. Finally, the paper describes the present conditions of strategic alliances in HeFei city and points out the suggestions.
