Research And Positive Analysis On The Alteration Of Agriculture Economic Growth Pattern In Hebei Province

Since reforming and opening of China, both the economy growth and the social construction have developed quickly. At the same time, the problems as waste of resources. worsening environment and low productivity etc, become more and more serious. Accomplishing the alteration of agriculture economic growth pattern from extensive to intensive is the basic solution and essential insurance for the constant, healthy and steady development of our socialist market economy. On March the seventeenth of 2006, "the 11th 5 years economy and social development program of China" also point out speeding up alteration of EGP(economic growth pattern), which is one of the most important ways to insist scientific development viewpoint and accomplish sustainable development. China is a great agricultural nation. And agriculture is the beginning of economic development. So it is the most important research to studying on agricultural EGP. In this background, the thesis chooses the great agricultural province as Hebei to research the alteration of agricultural EGP. Then it scientifically and reasonably analyzes the situation of agricultural economic growth and alteration of agricultural EGP in Hebei province, by gathering references and statistical date. The thesis also builds up a set of evaluating indicator system , in order to providing quantity criterion and theory support for researching Hebei province and nation alteration of agricultural EGP.First of all, the thesis defines the connotation and analyzes the domestic and foreign theory research of the economic growth, economic development and EGP, then concludes the enlightenment for our nation. Secondly it analyzes the condition, which alters agriculture EGP in Hebei, from some aspects of the agricultural economy growth stability, production factors, resources and environment, construction, institution factors and so on. Thirdly, though tow methods of total factor productivity and indicator system, it evaluating alteration of agricultural EGP in Hebei. According to the date of agricultural GDP, investment, labor and land from 1986-2004, the total factor productivity method establishes growth speeding equation to calculating total factor productivity which is the main factors to evaluate agriculture EGP. The indicator consists of 5 subsystems that include the production factor investment, the agriculture output, the agricultural structure, institution factors and ecological environment and 30 indicators. The thesis selects 20 indicators to determine target value and weight. In weighting each indicator, it chooses the objective method of AHP, projective method of variance coefficients and integrative method. Finally it selects dispersion method to evaluate agriculture EGP in Hebei. Two methods calculate the same result that the alteration of agricultureeconomic growth pattern from extensive to intensive not yet accomplishes in Hebei. In the last part, some proposals are given in order to accelerate the alteration of agricultural EGP, by unifying the qualitative and quantitative analysis result. The most important one is to improve agricultural science and technique level. At the same time, it is also important to improve agricultural structure, investment, market, land institution and so on, at the basis of protecting food safety and agriculture advantage in Hebei.
