Study On The Relationship Between FDI And Optimal Upgrading For Industry Structure In China

Developing with more than half century, our country economy has basically got out of the traditional planned economy system. While the contradictory of total economical quantity obtains alleviation, the economic structure problem is being sticking out day by day. The structure adjustment has been the leading force to the economy development.The fifth plenary conferences bulletin of 15th National Congress of Communist Party of China emphasized: Realizing the national economy development continually fast and healthy, we must focus on the central task of the economic benefit, carry on the strategic adjustment to the economic structure, which is the cardinal principle to improve the national economy quality, expand domestic demand, enhance international competitive ability. The Tenth Five-year Plan of our country takes the industrial structure adjustment as the main goal. At present, the main problems of our industry structure are the disparate development of three industry structures and the lower internal overall quality of every industry, which all are of the close relations to the industrial distribution with the characteristic of foreign direct investment. Therefore, the influence of foreign direct investment must be considered when adjusting the industrial structure.At present, the strategy of absorbing the foreign direct investment in our country is modifying from the quantity expanding to the quality optimization, which is facing the significant strategic adjustment with the most important issue about guiding and adjusting the industrial distribution of foreign direct investment. This article analyses a series of problems of our country industrial structure, utilizes the massive statistical data, specifically studies the unique feature of foreign direct investment in our country and develops objective effect of industry structure. Now our country has already joined the World Trade Organization, which means the full consideration of industry structure adjustment in the international economyenvironment must be taken. With the generalization and globalization of economy, the foreign direct investment will be of the new characteristic and tendency, and then of the new influence to the industrial structure. The key point of this dissertation is to analyze the relevance between foreign direct investment and industry structure adjustment, as well as to industry structure, industrial technology, market structure and national industry. And the suitable measurements are put forward in adjustment of foreign direct investment, which can make the industrial structure rationalization, the industrial technology high-level, the market competition effective, the industrial structure securely and so on, which has the significance both in theory and practice to use the foreign capital positively and effectively, expand foreign opening, enhance the international market competitive ability and so on.
