An Important Included Angle: Method And Empirical Analysis

The quality of economic growth is the problem that lots of economists pay attention to and study increasingly. The economy of our country has increased continuously at the very fast speed and overall national strength of our country have been enhanced since reform and opening-up to the outside world, but the quality of economic growth is relatively lower. The main reason is the quality of soft-input and the efficiency of hard-input is low. The thesis based on China's national conditions of Socialism Elementary Stage for a long time. To use the theories of domestic and foreign economic growth for reference and based on the soft-input theory, it analyzed the contribution to economic growth which made by such factors as soft-input, especially system, policy and labor's enthusiasm in our country. The paper introduced parametric estimation method and non-parametric estimation method of the production frontier research in the part of empirical analysis. It calculated the extent of economic potential release and the included angle between the actual direction and the optimum direction of input combination as well as loss of GDP in the country and 28 provinces of China. We finally evaluated and analyzed the quality of economic growth and put forward to several conclusions and measures in improving the quality of soft-input elements and raising the quality of economic growth.
