Analysis Of Preventing Monopoly From Foreign Investors In Logistics Industry

According to the commitments of access to WTO, China's logistics and express market should be completely opened to foreign investors in 2005. It allows to establish whole- foreign-capital express company, as well as joint-venture or whole-foreign-capital companies in traffic, storage, freight and many other fields. But comparing with the big size, developed technology and management ability of foreign logistics companies, our country's logistics industry is still in the early developing stage. So it is a meaningful task to research how to face the challenge from Multi-nation companies and make effort to restrain theirs monopoly.In this article, a kind of research measure of longitudinal analysis and transverse referencing is utilized, that is discussing the possibility of monopoly in domestic logistics with longitudinal way, then introduce and analyze the case of monopoly controlled successfully in washing products field, and comparing the specific conditions with logistics industry, consequently the meaningful suggestions of how to prevent the monopoly in logistics industry can be gained.First, some issues about monopoly are defined in this article, which include the concept of monopoly and the factors of monopoly .the "monopoly" discussed in the article means the market monopoly due to the advantages of foreign logistics companies in capital, technology and management, and for the purpose of later analysis, I discussed the factors of monopoly.Then, the longitudinal analysis measures are utilized, it analyzes the history, developing and actuality of domestic logistics industry, and incorporating with the analysis of characteristics of the logistics industry and foreign giants strength and strategy, in conclusion, that a duality monopoly market structure will be formed in China logistics market.After the longitudinal analysis, a case of how to prevent the monopoly in washing products field is introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages impacts to monopoly preventing fromfactors of monopoly are analyzed respectively, then comparing with logistics industry, gained the impacts to logistics industry.At last, on the basis of former longitudinal and transverse analysis, the suggestions corresponded of how to prevent the monopoly in logistics industry are put up.
