An automatic weather station can collect and process the meteorological data information, which is the main basis of the meteorological service. At present, a PC software in automatic weather station normally collects meteorological data by wire, which has the shortcomings of short transmission distance and high cost and is difficult to meet the needs of human being to the meteorological observation. And due to the environmental influence, the data collected by the automatic weather station has the error, especially the humidity data. The water will deposit on the surface of a radiation shield blade used to install the temperature and humidity sensors in the rain or after the rain, which will leads to humidity rising in this cover and a wetting error. The error can be up to 0.080 g/m3. In addition, with the site of the automatic weather station and the amount of meteorological data increasing, the way of meteorological data query has been unable to meet the needs of people.In view of the above problems of automatic weather station data acquisition and processing equipment, a new system for meteorological data acquisition and processing is designed in this article. At first, an automatic weather station acquisition system used for collecting meteorological data based on STM3 is designed, which includes host controller, power supply, meteorological sensors and communication module. In order to solve the problems existing in the wired transmission data, the communication module has the wireless communication mode based on RS-232 serial port and GPRS. Wet rate refers to the wet area ratio on radiation shield at the windward direction. In order to reduce wetting error, experimental platform is built to obtain experimental data by changing the rate of wind speed and wet. The wetting error correction equation is regressed by a Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm under various wind velocity and wetting rate. Then real-time error correction is realized by combining this equation into the PC software. Using VS2010, C# language and SQL Server 2008, the software realizes functions of meteorological data collecting, querying, deleting and wetting error correction. In order to be more convenient to inquire about the relevant information of meteorology, a remote access platform based on Web is built.This PC software is able to lower the wetting error to 0.023g/m3 and to improve humidity measuring accuracy under certain wetting rate and wind velocity conditions, which realizes functions of remote collecting and accessing meteorological data. Wetting error correction could be expected to be applied meteorological observation field.
