Relations Between The Pattern Indexes And Trousers Shape

With the rapid development of science and technology，the clothing industry has alsoundergone a change in attitudes.With the popularity of the three-dimensional body scanmeasurement and use computer to make pattern,a new automation of the clothing industry isbooming rise.All of clothing’s design、make the pattern and make clothing are graduallychange from the personal experience to the computer automatically generating andhigh-tech manufacturing. Digital technology promote the clothing industry todevelopment..We believe one day, we can use the computer to finish each step in makingclothing.However 3 d garment CAD technology is still not perfect, there are still a lot oftechnical problems.The focus of this research is use the digital technology to research the relations betweenthe pattern indexes and female trousers shape.Use the results we can provide some theoreticalbasis for the future development of the technology of CAD.Thesis mainly divided into fourparts: First, according to the national standards of human body size to pick the right humanbody, use the body scan to measure the body. Clothing wear on people, so we need a humanbody as the basic to research. The measurement will be as a research basic data; Second, onthe basis of study in others, with the other scholars’ research results,we selected 20 classicfemale trousers pattern. Use CAD software to redraw the pattern and measure, in order to getthe female trousers pattern indexes. Stand on the shoulders of giants, use the others results tohave a further research, clothing itself is a development process; Third, with the pattern weredraw, we can make 20 female trousers, let model put on these pants and to measure theindexes with 3-D body scan machine, we can have the data of female trousers shape; Fourth,it is the most important part in this thesis. Through a series of the measured data comparedeach other, analysis of the relations between the measurements, to research the relationsbetween the pattern indexes and trousers shape.For now, this is a new field of study. For the female trousers research method andapplication field provides theory basis and reference data.
