As final disposal of municipal solid waste,landfill is widely used because of itssimple,low investment,large capacity and low operating costs.The pollution problemsof landfill is increasing along with the high requirement for living environment andacceleration of urbanization process.Since lacking enough emphasis on the controllingfor surface runoff and subsurface filtration,large production of leachate causes greatpressure to post leachate treatment,and also leads to great pollution threaten for soil andsurrounding environment.Randomly emission of landfill gas may cause burring or evenexplosion. The remediation for the landfill area with bad management and flaws indesign is imminent.By studying this project,some theory and practical support will begiven to some valley-type domestic waste sanitary landfill which with non-standardmanagement and design flaws.In this paper, by combining domestic and foreign representative landfillremediation projects,analyzing non-standard management,environment hazards ofvalley type landfill with flaws in design and domestic and foreign solution,proposed acomprehensive treatment solution for mix of rain-sewage,odor,landfill gas andenvironmental safety. There are three pars of the solution: separate rain and leachate,control for landfill gas and oder.Rain and leachate diversion contains five parts:planning and grading assignments section,mulching,rain guiding,leachate guiding andrepair of channels;landfill gas controlling contains:repair the original gas drainagestone cages,new built gas drainage stone cages which should be set up,set up gasgathering pipeline system,adopt the positive internal gas collection system,suctionlandfill gas to dual-mode gas holder with exhauster,and burning LFG eventually;odorcontrolling includes:controlling source and in situ control with membrane.This program is used in a waste sanitary landfill in Chongqing,and take it as andemonstration project.After practical operation,result of rain and sewage diversioneffect is increased significantly,leachate production reduced up to80.71%,collection oflandfill gas has good effect,the environment near landfill area is improved greatly.Byanalyzing problems met in practical operating,the comprehensive treatment can beimproved as fallows:Temporary channels should be set up in both sides of the junctionof mountain and the landfill body respectively,spraying plant deodorant to control odorcoming from waste exposed surface,small and medium-sized landfill may establish a few scattered small torch to replace the original one large torch.From the general characteristics of valley-type landfill, the modifiedcomprehensive treatment can adapt to the landfill which has typical valley typecharacteristics by analyzing; by simulating this program to three different scales oflandfill sites:Changshengqiao landfill in Chongqing(large),Wansheng landfill inChongqing(mid) and a landfill in Tibet (small),the result tells that by making a finetune according to practical condition,this scheme can be used well,and good effect canbe get by theory.The comprehensive treatment to valley-type domestic waste landfill inthis paper has good application prospect.
