| Optim fiber is a kind of modified wool after slenderizing. It not only maintainsmany advantages of the ordinary wool before stretching, the products also have asupple, soft, thin, wearing comfortable style. These features make the Optim fabrichas broad market and development potential. But as a result of slenderizing, woolfiber’s super-molecular structure has changed, Optim fiber is prone to the problems ofuneven dyeing in the dyeing process. So the research on the dyeing of optim fiber isvery meaningful.The dyes used in this project are Lanasol CE, which is a new type of reactive dyesfor woolen use. By adding the micro-suspension agent to the dye bath, it can be withdye forming the micro-suspension particles and dispersed in the dye bath.Namelychanged the state of aggregation of the dye in the bath. As a result ofmicro-suspension dye’s self-regulating effect, the dye is adsorbed uniformly on thesurface of Optim fiber in the low-temperature. Then the micro-suspension of dyeparticles will be massive and quickly, uniformly adsorbed on the surface of Optimfiber fiber and split open with the increasing of temperature.The released dyes spreadto the internal fiber with higher speed and then fix on it. Because micro-suspensiondye particle size is slightly larger than the crack of Optim fiber, it can delayconcentrated dyeing area to a certain extent and prevent the dyes adsorption rate tooptim too fast which leads to the uneven dyeing at low-temperature phase. Uniformadsorption of micro-suspension system also ensure the uniformity of dyes on fibers.Atthe same time, Micro-suspension dyeing (MSD) technology by addingmicro-suspension dyeing auxiliary WPN-1and micro-suspension net lotion WG-1toorientate on optim faber’s surface, so that the fiber can generate a certain repulsion,and make the optim fiber in the dyeing and scouring process significantly fluffy,namely by increasing the space between the fiber to effectivly " resistance " the wool"collapse" phenomenon as a result of optim fine wet modulus reduction.Micro-suspension dyeing technology to optim fiber dyeing can effectively solve theproblem of uneven dyeing problems in the dyeing process and improve the dyeinglevelness. Throughing analyze the comparison of the micro-suspension dyeing withtraditional dyeing, study theinfluence factors (including acid consumption,micro-suspended auxiliary’s amount, soaking time and micro-suspended net lotion’samount), dyeing thermodynamics and application performance of the MSD process,the optimum conditions for the former were optimized.What’s more; it deeplyexplained and proved the characteristics and advantages of this dyeing method.On the analysis of the micro-suspension dyeing method for thermodynamics, itwas found that it just changes the state of dye in the bath, but not changed the type ofadsorption isotherm curve. The MSD process did not change the covalent bond ofLanasol CE series reactive dyes with optim fiber, so it would not affect thecolorfastness of the dyeing samples.The performance test results of the dyeing fiber show that, the friction fastnessand crabbing fastness of samples dyed in new process are equivalent to or even betterthan those dyed in conventional one.The samples dyed in the MSD process was soft,fluffy, slightly darker and brightter, and the color light was not changed yet.The MSD process can improve the heating rate to shorten the high temperaturedyeing time of optim fiber, make dyeing time shortened by more than23%and thefiber’s damage in the process of dyeing reduced from3%to16%.So it saves energyand benefit to the analysis and processing of fiber in following process. |
