Drilling ship is one of the very important equipments in the current oil fields of marinetechnology nowadays, It charged with subsea oil and gas drilling, mining an important task,and its performance directly affected the development of the petroleum industry, but theenvironment on the ocean is variable, so the power management system is essential to beable to secure work. Power management system is to achieve security and stability ofdrilling rigs working to improve job quality, increase drilling efficiency. Power managementsystem can make vessel to improve stability, security, economical of ship power station,improving drilling vessels in various conditions to optimize power, but also to ensure thesafety of the ship running.In this thesis, fund project about "the drilling ship Power System Integrated Platformoperated1500meters under the bosom of the sea".1500m water depth drilling rigsoperating power management system as a research project. According to the drilling shippower management system requirements,The implementation plan, software and hardwaredesign, design of power management system, implementation scheme of hardware andsoftware\Ship power system grid outage prevention and control and limit control of largepower load are discussed and studied in this thesis. The applied background of this thesis isvery clearly, and the practical value is high. The main task of this thesis is as follows:In1500meters water depth in drilling ship as the application background, the drillingvessel architecture of ship control network is analyzed and designed. According to the basicstructure of power management system and functions are introduced, aiming at the stage ofthe work flow and the process of drilling rigs, proposed and established the drilling shippower management system function.According to the composition and function of power management system, build thehardware framework and network structure of the whole system, Secondly, the design of thecontrol system of generating units, single point of failure and the maximum instantaneousload, According to the load change, develop generator start stop control, effective power ofmarine power system. The work mentioned above, fully meet the PMS generators of drillingrigs distribution control.Analysis the reason and harm of the ship power system power off. Followed byanalysis of the dynamic process of ship power system power off, the power is how a process before. For the ship power grid is proposed for the prevention of power control. Tominimize the energy consumption, the high efficiency and fast load shedding techniques toimprove the ability of power system. Safety threshold quantity can be left to run generatorsin the event of a single failure.With1500m operation depth drilling ship as application object. And the ship’s powermanagement system is introduced, then the power management system framework isdesigned. A detailed description of the drilling ship the whole ship power system model,Secondly, based on introducing the function of drilling ship power management system,designed the basic framework of the power management system. With power managementsystem as the basis, combining the configuration scheme of drilling ship propulsion andwork requirements. Focus on the analysis of the power restriction policy on the allocationunder the scheme of the drilling vessel load on power in operation. Using the real-timetorque loss load limit based controller, the simulation results establish specific controlscheme. This work can serve as practical engineering design of power management systemof drilling ship.
