Coal resource is an important basic energy and materials in China, it is also one ofthe most important energies. In recent years coal mine safety accidents have happenedrepeatedly, these accidents cause great economic loss. Part of the accidents were causedby gas explosion and CO poisoning, environmental temperature and humidity are toohigh or too low In coal mine, which mekes workers cause a lot of damage in the body. Inorder to avoid the occurrence of safety accidents in coal mines. building a good and safeworking environment is very important, so the design of a coal mine safety monitoringsystem is very necessary. With the development of computer technology and ZigBeeTechnology. This paper designs a coal mine monitoring system based on single chipcomputer and ZigBee technology, the system embodies the advantages ofZigBee technology for the low cost, low power consumption and high reliability.Firstly, This paper analyzes the research background, significance and research statusand development trend of the subject, studies the characteristics of ZigBeetechnology,protocol architecture and a sub layer function. In the practical application theconstruction of ZigBee network is the key, this paper discusses the types of devices inZigBee network, three kinds of topology structure of ZigBee network, the networkformation process and network security.Secondly, This system is designed to based on CC2530processor of TI company.This paper designs the circuit module, hardware and software development platform of thecoordinator equipment and node terminal equipments. The paper considers the effect ofinterference on the circuit, this paper describes the anti-interference design of hardwarecircuit.Thirdly, In order to be more convenient and intuitive manages and uses the system,the paper uses VS2010software to design PC monitoring software. The PC monitoringsoftware can realize user registration, login, display data, query historical data and otherfunctions. Finally, This paper combines with the software system and the hardware system,thoroughly tests the coal mine safety monitoring system, gives the relevant test results andrelated analysis. Test results shows that the coal mine safety monitoring system achievesthe expected goal that is proposed in the paper.
