The new typical dry gas tank is a facility for holding gas, its structural form istowering thin-walled spatial structure, which is more and more widely used. With thelarge scale of gas tank, the problem of stability become more and more prominent. So itis necessary to study the Dynamic Behavior and Statically Stabilityof new typical drygas tank to provide a reference for engineering design.Firstly, separately calculate the Dynamic Behaviorof gas tank in four conditions.Analyze the effects of the position of the piston on basic frequency of gas tank.Calculation show that the basic frequency of gas tank extended with the rising of piston.Secondly, calculate the buckling eigenvalues of gas tank. Calculate the effect ofspacing of main beam and the section of main beam on buckling load of tank top, onthis basis, further discuss the section of radial beam and circle beam. Eigenvaluebuckling analysis for barrel investigate the effect of internal pressure on buckling loadand buckling shape. Compare the linear buckling eigenvalues and equivalent basic windload of gas tank for different spacing and different stiffener. The researches show thatthe section of radial beam have a good effect on carrying capacity of tank top, theinternal pressure have an effect on resisting wind, the spacing and section of stiffenerhave an effect on resisting wind.Thirdly, calculate the nonlinear stability of gas tank by Arc-length method, proposea simplified model for nonlinear stability analysis of tank top, on this basis, analyze theimpact of different levels of initial defect on the ultimate carrying capacity and thebuckling shape of the tank top by consistent mode imperfection method, Calculate theeffect of increasing the section of center beam; further discuss the difference ofincreasing the section of radial beam and circle beam, calculate the effect of internalpressure on resisting wind load, discuss the role of each member or combination of thebarrel on gas tank for resisting wind load, The research show that the initialimperfection of structure reduced the carrying capacity of tank top but not changed thebuckling shape of it; Increasing the section of center beam have a general effect onimproving the carrying capacity of tank top; Increasing the section of radial beam isbetter than increasing the section of circle beam. The T stiffener of barrel enhanced thelocal stability, the circumferential cloister enhanced the monolithic stability, the verticalstiffener do not show much effect on enhancing the stability of Anti-Wind performance of gas tank.
