Currently, with the rapid development of the Enterprise Informatization, the Informatizationof petrochemical construction began to receive attention. As an important part of petrochemicalconstruction, the informatization level of welding was very low. With the gradual application ofNB/T47014-2011"Welding procedure qualification for pressure equipment" standard, domesticdemand for the ES(Expert System) and OA(Office Automation) system of welding is growing, butthe research in software system based on the new standard still in its infancy. In this paper, usingthe latest Web development technologies, combined with NB/T47014standard requirements, anintelligent welding system of petrochemical industry is established. Welding OA system, weldingprocedure qualification expert system, complete material database and analyzing weldabilitysystem were integrated in this system.Firstly, according to the Standard Format, the paper achieved the management ofpWPS/PQR/WPS. Combined with the implementation of practical workflow, the paper realizedprocess documents online-audit management, recipient management, invalid file management andprinting authorization.Secondly, the paper extracted process qualification principles from NB/T47014standard andestablished the knowledge base and forward inference engine. The paper realized the design andimplementation of the PQR screening expert system and the process evaluation necessityjudgment. In order to achieve better efficiency, the system carried out the innovative function ofwelding procedure qualification batch filtering. The system’s algorithm also covered the processqualification of composite metal material to achieve completeness. Through the establishment oflist of welding procedure qualification, the paper realized the combination of PQR screeningexpert system and recipient management and achieved the dynamic management of the process.The paper achieved automatic generation of WPS which greatly improved the efficiency of thepreparation of WPS.Thirdly, the paper established a material database on the basis of NB/T47014standard. Thedatabase adopted the classification method based on NB/T47014, completed base material andwelding material database including metal steel, aluminum, titanium, etc. The paper alsoaccomplished grade comparison database and material classification database.Finally, the paper realized the weldability analysis and calculation solution. According toutilization of materials in pipeline and pressure vessel, the paper adopted different carbonequivalent models and realized the computing function. Based on internationally recognizedresearch results and formulas, the paper achieved the minimum preheat-temperature computing and thermal cracking/reheat cracking susceptibility computing. Moreover, the system establishedthe T8/5computing model and realized the computing function. Material database is integratedinto this solution for easy retrieval of chemical composition data to improve the usability of thesystem.The intelligent welding system included integration of database and expert systemtechnology and organic combination of welding standards and technique preparation process,realized the welding process documentation and online management. The system had broadapplication prospects.
