Amino silicon oil is widely used in the textile finishing field and is considered the bestsoftener among the new generation of softener because of its excellent softness、smoothnessand film formation. Despite of all the advantages, amino silicon oil has some disadvantagessuch as easily turning yellow and single-function. With the improvement of living standard,customers are having higher demands about the service ability and multifunction of textiles.In this dissertation, we synthesized two kinds of novel polysiloxane softener: polysiloxanemodified with quaternary ammonium salt (QAS) groups named PQAS and polysiloxanemodified with QAS groups and pefluoroalkyl group named PQASF. The main contents of thisdissertation include the followings:Synthetized a series of amino silicon oil with different amino index using PMX-0156andHD-121. Then the amino silicon oil was modified with benzyl chloride in the solvent ofisopropanol to get PQAS. The synthesis conditions were systematically studied and theproduct’s structure was characterized. The results showed that the textiles treated with PQASacquired good softness which was the fifth degree, kept high whiteness whose whitenessretention reached94.49%and had excellent antibacterial activity whose antibacterial ratesagainst E. coli and S. aureus were98.75%and99.99%, respectively. What’s more, after10times washing, the antibacterial rates against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus were95.08%and98.30%, respectively, meaning that textiles treated with PQAS had durable ability.In order to impart the textiles high whiteness, good softness, excellent antibacterialproperty and repellent property at the same time, another novel polysiloxane softener PQASFwas synthetized. Using PMX-0156、HD-121and G502B to synthetize the polysiloxanemodified with tertiary amine and perfluoroalkyl then the copolymer was modified with benzylchloride in the solvent of isopropanol to get PQASF. The ratio of the materials wassystematically studied and the product’s structure was characterized. The results showed thatthe textiles treated with PQAS acquired good softness which was the fourth degree, kept highwhiteness whose whiteness retention reached96.05%, had excellent repellency to waterwhich was fourth degree and the contact angle was154.23°and got wonderful antibacterial activity whose antibacterial rates against E. coli and S. aureus were99.98%and above99.99%, respectively. What’s more, after10times washing, the antibacterial rates against E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus were90.25%and94.93%, respectively, meaning that textilestreated with PQASF had durable ability.
