Research On China’s Construction Of Ecological Civilization On The Basis Of Ecological Ethics

Owing to the comprehensive disorder of relationship between humans and nature as wellas relationship among people, ecological ethics is put forward to handle ecological crisis andsocial crisis. As for ecological ethics, it is emphasized that the social function of ethics is toadjust people’s social relationship, as well as to adjust the ecological relationship betweenhumans and nature. Therefore, it is the ethical concept that is suitable to the newera--ecological civilization era. In the18th CPC National Congress, it is restated that theconstruction of ecological civilization is a long-term plan influencing people’s benefits and thefuture of the nation. Faced with the reality of limited resources, seriously-pollutedenvironment and worsening ecosystem, people have to establish a correct concept aboutecological civilization, that is, respect nature, comply with the nature and protect the nature,putting the construction of ecological civilization at an important position and putting it intothe whole process of economic construction, political construction, cultural construction aswell as social construction. All these have strengthened the importance of constructingecological civilization. On the basis, the author makes a study on China’s construction ofecological civilization based on ecological ethics, aiming to use the ideas of ecological ethicsto promote China’s construction of ecological civilization.The paper, by the combination of theory and practice, as well as the researchmethodology in conjunction with systemic analysis, comparative analysis and qualitativeanalysis, focus on the subject “research on national ecological civilization construction on thebasis of ecological ethics”, with an analysis on relevant theoretical background of ecologicalethics and civilization, and construction on ecological civilization, facing challenges ofecological civilization construction in our country and learning experience from developedcountries, attempts to establish a way of promotion our ecological civilization construction byecological ethics, to realize the noble aspirations of establishment ecological civilizationconstruction system with compliance to Chinese national condition. The significances of theresearch are as follows: It indicates the main challenges in our national ecologicalconstructions which we have to face up in addition with successful experience in developedcountries, providing a foundation for exploring an appropriate road both for constructions anddevelopment of Chinese ecological civilization, and further promoting the constructions byapplication of ecological ethics.
