Current society is meeting tow urgent problems, whichi is energy crisis and atmosphericpollution. Highway is one of the most important content of our country‘s nfrastructureconstruction. Highway construction produces vast numbers of carbon emission and greatreqirement of energy, which is harmful to our country s environment and natural resources.Now the pattem of highway construction is not conform to our country‘s protection of theenvironment strategy and taking the path of sustainable development planning.This dissertation mainly studied the stages of the energy consumption and carbonemission of asphalt mixture. According to the actual survey data, combined with the existingachievements inland and abroad, using the equivalent heat value method and carbon emissionfactor method to build the calculation model of energy consumption and carbon emissions.Calculating the energy cosumption and the carbon emission of our country‘s highwayconstructing at the condition of present technics and facts. Further, according to the results ofthe analysis by using the method of maximum deviation empowerment of asphalt pavementin our country analyzing the key links or stages in the process of energy consumption andcarbon emissions. And put forward the improvement on the basis of this, to reduce the energyconsumption of asphalt mixture and carbon emissions, figure out5kinds of ways whichinclude concrete methods, technology, and analyzes the actual effect reduction of energyconservation and emissions reduction, and verify its economy, analyzes its feasibility.Through the analysis of our country‘s energy consumption and carbon emission ofasphalt mixture and research of the technology of energy saving and emission reduction, cansearch the road to for our country‘s low carbon and energy saving highway constructionmodel. And also provide a new scheme for our country‘s resource-conserving andenvironmentally friendly transportation construction patterns. This research will have acertain economic and social and environmental benefits.
