With the acceleration of urbanization, Urban Rivers began to deteriorate, polluted riverwater can not meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly, the rivers on the agenda.For ShiYan, which builted according to plant and born drawing near water, riching in waterresources brought her economic development, but could not escape the doom of riverpollution, while North Water Transfer Project started on the occasion, the river seemed toclear particularly important.Based on the learning of domestic and foreign Urban River management theory andpractical experience, systematic analysis of the function and role of urban rivers, reviewedand summed up the experience and the importance of urban river management, noting the gapbetween the status quo of China’s river management and more mature technology abroad, inorder to stay focused in the rivers, to take reasonable and effective treatment methods.After a related survey, got the ShenDing River’s water quality monitoring results,through integrated pollution index and Spearman rank correlation coefficient methodevaluated the river water quality status of ShenDing River, analyzed the main reason for thepollution generated. By the learning of the classic urban river management case-Thamesgovernance, according to the actual situation in Shiyan City from "exogenous Festivalpollution, dredging endogenous","upgrade sewage treatment facilities" and "governancetechnical support","ecological" and other considerations, proposed some specific measures,such as verification of the actual situation of polluting enterprises and rectified, theestablishment of a landfill and industrial parks, and strengthen the system of pollution permits,clean up the river silt, sewage treatment plant expansion and strengthen decontaminationtriage, establish Wetland Park and so on, noted that precautions and development direction,which is playing a positive role in ShenDing River basin water pollution control, but also toNorth Water Transfer Project played a role in safeguarding enabled.
