With faster development of science and technology, the advanced coal productionautomation level is one of the main ways to improve the economic efficiency of coalenterprises. Traditional relay control system for the coal belt conveyer is gradually beingphased out, because of the huge volume, higher failure rate, the slow reaction. PLC controlscheme for the coal belt conveyer is now widely used in coal industry due to the advantagesof its fast response, much internal contacts, simple structure, smaller space, lower accident. Sothe PLC coal belt conveyer control system is gradually replacing the old relay control method.According to the coal transport system technical reconstruction of the main coal well inFenxi Charred Coal Group in Shanxi Province, the PLC control system for the coal beltconveyer is designed for the single belt conveyer PLC control system and the integratedfive-belt conveyer PLC control system, respectively, in the thesis. Based on the research ofthe primary materials for the belt conveyer control system, the belt conveyer PLC controlsystem moving states are analyzed, the belt conveyer PLC control performance is proposed,and the protection function for belt conveyer is also explicit.In accordance with the system technical requirements and control characteristics, thetechnique parameters of the belt conveyer PLC control system are projected, the protectcontrol devices are determined. At last the intelligent control method for the belt conveyerPLC control system is probed based on fuzzy control principle.While the belt conveyer PLC control system is designed, the production processdistinctive features of the main coal well is fully taken into account, namely the productionprocess of both discrete and continuous features, and safety requirements, the productionprocess of integrated automation and safety monitoring and automated monitoring. The system integration control production processes is realized, the control range of the PLC isenlarged, and the synthesis automation level in the coal well is also raised.
